Carpentry began as a hobby many years ago whilst climbing the ladder on the professional golfing circuit.  I have always had a keen interest in buildings and architecture, which developed as I toured the UK and Europe.

After qualifying as a PGA Golf Professional family life beckoned and, married to Jane, I settled in the UK turning my hobby into a passion for woodworking.  I concentrated on acquiring all the latest tooling and machinery and gaining the qualifications necessary for a successful business.

Prodesign has now been running successfully for nineteen years, employing several apprentices along the way who have then gone on to utilise their skills in their chosen professions.

When I'm Not working I enjoy keeping fit and anything involving 2 wheels (Motorised or Not!) I still practice my golf,  just enough to maintain my  PGA status and to keep my eye in, as you never know when the Ryder Cup call up may come!!
